I lived in India for 4 years. There are many Indian restaurants in Texas that are decent, but this is the first one I've been to where the quality of ingredients and the cooking stands up to the food I had while living in Delhi. It is the best Indian restaurant in Houston, Texas without a doubt. Highly recommended!
I like curries, but this was my first time at the Curries. I went with a friend who likes to eat here. I was impressed! I had PaneerTikka Masala, which came with rice and Naan. At this venue you can tell them how spicy you want your meal - on a scale of 1-10. I ordered the 5, but next time I think I’ll order a 6 or 7. I’ll be going back very soon!
This was good and wasn't as heavy and oily as some Indian restaurants can be. You choose your spice level 1-10. The Paneer is really delicious. Vegetarian is easy here. Vegan may be a challenge. Gluten-free is also a challenge.I liked the décor, different than most Indian restaurants I've been to. The staff was surprisingly diverse.
Really enjoyed the buffet, really good selection. Good amount of spice too. Both biryanis were excellent, as were the vegetable dishes. Quick and excellent service; nice atmosphere; good food. One of my favorite Indian restaurants! A must-try place!
Since moving to the US two years ago we have been searching for authentic Indian cuisine. This is it. Having travelled across 46 states, without doubt this Indian restaurant serves the best veg biryani. I would like to recommend this restaurant to every Indian cuisine connoisseur.
